About Me

A Computer Science graduate, I work full-time for LSI Architects as their Visualisation Manager. A member of the Society of Architectural Illustrators, I have worked in Architectural Illustration for 16 years. I am also trained in digital Matte Painting and am an active member of CGsociety and ArtStation’s Matte Painting community.

In 2015 I produced two digital matte paintings for the UK-produced feature film ‘Arthur & Merlin‘, with my depictions of the Celtic stronghold Dinas Affaraon appearing four times in the finished film.

Most 3D work is modelled in ArchiCAD, with some models produced in FormZ. These are then rendered in ArchiCAD’s CineRender or Maxwell Render, with post-processing work carried out in Photoshop.

My ‘Parisian Mass Housing’ painting was selected to appear on the Contents page of ‘D’Artiste: Matte Painting 3’. My ‘Hover’ image placed 3rd in the Ronen Bekerman Architectural Visualization Challenge 2010. I also came 7th in 2008’s AVC international Architectural Visualisation competition, and my Beach House image placed 6th in CGarchitect’s 2008 ‘3D Awards’ out of over 300 entries.
